This shoot was from a part of my University work back in Easter 2014. Nate was a model I had wanted to work with for a long time, and we finally managed to sort a shoot out. We visited an old woodland just outside of Norwich in Norfolk that nature has just been left to run in course and we shot away. Setting of smoke bombs with flashes in the trees to replicate the sunlight. The shoot took all morning but it was worth every second of it. We then found out how easy it was to shoot together as we both like the whole narrative feel of the work I like to produce. Since this shoot we have arranged many shoots together and every single one has been a complete pleasure. The concept behind the shoot was mad max come hunter gatherer slaying somebody who was sent out to kill him, and I feel that the look worked very well with it. This was shot on my old Canon crop sensor camera (the 60d) I would love to go back and shoot this with my newer camera and sharper lens.
