Night bunkers
Join me for an in-depth discussion on the creation of my photographic project, "Night Bunkers."
What began as a university project in 2015 during my third year has since evolved into a true passion.
Initially, I started by photographing a few pillboxes and bunkers in Norfolk. However, as the project developed, I found myself driving over 500 miles across two nights in East Anglia, capturing the WWII structures that fascinated me both for their location and design. I chose to photograph them during the night, at dusk, or dawn—times when these sites are rarely visited.
During this talk, I’ll share insights into the lighting techniques I used, the safety precautions I took, and the environmental challenges I encountered while shooting through the winter of 2015-2016.
This talk can be booked for an in-person presentation in Norfolk or Suffolk, or for an online session from anywhere. Please email to confirm availability before or after making a booking.
In-person talks are available nationwide, but travel expenses will need to be covered.
