Photography Workshop in Assynt, Scotland – A Breathtaking Adventure Awaits!
Join me for an unforgettable Assynt landscape photography workshop, a week-long Scotland photography tour in the breathtaking and rugged Assynt region of the North West Highlands. This immersive landscape photography workshop will take you to some of the most iconic and remote locations in the Scottish Highlands, where we'll explore dramatic coastlines, majestic mountain vistas, and hidden gems. Situated in a peaceful location, far from the hustle and bustle, this is one of the premier landscape photography workshops in the UK.
At this time of year, the famous NC500 route is quieter, with minimal tourist traffic, allowing us to experience the serenity of these incredible locations without interruption. Plus, with the midges long gone, we'll have the perfect opportunity to focus on capturing the stunning natural beauty of the Highlands. As a bonus, this region offers one of the best chances in the UK to witness the Northern Lights (Aurora Borealis) at their peak, weather and solar activity permitting.

The list of places we can visit is never-ending due to how amazing the Assynt and wider region is, we’ll explore both popular and off-the-beaten-path locations across the North West highlands of Scotland. A few select highlights include:

Remote beaches (far too many to list here)
Loch Bad a’ Ghaill
Stoer Lighthouse and the old man of Stoer

Transport
All transport is included. You’ll travel in comfort in my 6-seater van throughout the workshop, there are charging ports for camera and drone batteries for you to use.
Free Pick-up and drop-off at Inverness are available for added convenience, with the option to get a lift with me from Norwich.
Accommodation and Food
We’ll stay in a comfortable and conveniently located lochside house with private rooms. The accommodation is ideally positioned near stunning beaches, dramatic cliffs, and picturesque mountain vistas, providing the perfect base for our workshop.
On the 1st and last evening we will have a pub meal together, then each day, we’ll prepare meals together, including packed lunches for our outings. Breakfast options will range from cereals and toast to cooked dishes. Before the workshop, I’ll send out a menu so you can choose your preferred breakfasts, lunches, dinners, and snacks, ensuring everyone is well-fueled for our photography adventures.
